Miss Melina – Principal ISTD FDI, DDE (IBF, MTF, TF)

Melina started dancing at the age of 3 at a local dance school.
She gained her ISTD Foundation in Dance instruction, and Certificate in Dance Education in Ballet, Tap and Modern at DS Performing Arts. Since leaving, she has taught at dance schools up and down the country, and choreographed many dance school shows and audition pieces. Many of her students have also succeeded in gaining places at vocational schools and colleges.
Melina has many years experience teaching kids dance from as young as 2 years old, through to adults. She is patient, and nurtures each and every child with extreme diligence. With strong relationships between both the children and parents at Footworks, Melina has created a thriving dance school!

Miss Charlie

Charlie Bates-Parry trained at Pineapple Performing Arts School on a full scholarship. Whilst there, she taught classes in Hip Hop and Street Dance, which is what she now specializes in. Charlie then went on to train at the DS Performing Arts where she studied Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical Theatre. She left college with her DDI and grade 1- silver LAMDA medal.
Charlie is a resident dance teacher at 3 dance schools in North London. Teaching kids dance is what she loves to do most!

Miss Morgan

Morgan has competed all over the U.K as a child and won many National titles in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Song & Dance.

She then went on to spend much of her time training at White Lodge as well as Laine, both on scholarships. Morgan continued her training and went on to gain a degree in professional dance and Musical Theatre at Bird college.

She has been teaching dance, drama and singing for the past 8 years and is very much looking forward to passing on her knowledge and passion to all the students at Footworks Dance Academy.

Miss Chloe

Chloe is a BA(Hons) Musical Theatre graduate of the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
From a young age, she has performed in many dance competitions including the All England National Finals Gala Performance.
Chloe has also had the privilege of working with some of the West End’s up and coming choreographers as well as performing alongside Strictly Come Dancing’s Pasha Kovalev as part of his UK Tour – Pasha Kovalev: Magic of Hollywood. Most recently, she was the dance captain of Flashdance: The Musical at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking.
She has been teaching dance for over 6 years at dance schools in Yorkshire and also is currently a pointe shoe fitter at Dancia International, Drury Lane.
Chloe is very excited to impart her knowledge and experience to the next generation of dancers and to create a safe space for them to flourish as performers as well as people.
